“After We Collided” release date announced

After what feels like decades of waiting, it is time to celebrate! The official trailer for the After We Collided has finally dropped along with a release date. And boy it looks as heated as we saw on the sneak peek that was posted on Twitter on the 24th of July 2020

The two-minute trailer just dropped on Twitter on July 27, and it appears that though there is plenty of romance between our leads, Tessa and Hardin, there is some drama too. At one point, we see the two sitting together, Tessa’s head resting on Hardin’s shoulder, before she completely disappears as if she were only a memory. “The entire world is a collection of memoranda that she did exist. And that I have lost her,” Hardin says in voiceover, leading us to believe there’s trouble in paradise. “We’re like an addiction to each other with equal parts pleasure and pain.”

Throughout the trailer, there is a lot of what we call Drama. We see Hardin cosying up with a mystery brunette and watch as Tessa and her co-worker Trevor grow closer, even potentially hooking up. There’s love, there’s fighting (between Tessa and Hardin and Hardin and Trevor!), there are plenty of moody moments featuring Hardin brooding alone. And in true After fashion, there are plenty of NSFW moments between our star-crossed lovers, even though they may be on the outs.

The cast teased the drop and the movie itself on Twitter in self-made videos. “We hope that you love the movie as much as we loved making,” said Josephine, as Dylan waited to speak until a very loud helicopter flew past him. International release dates have been set for the premiere, and with the trailer tweet finally came the confirmation: After We Collided Hits Cinemas on the 2nd of October 2020.
